Gutsy Sourdough grew out of a love of growing and eating delicious food that is good for your body.
Gutsy Sourdough
My obsession with sourdough was born from an interest in creating and eating fermented foods that sit easily in the gut.
Gutsy sourdough is made traditionally using three ingredients - a mixture of organic and sustainably sourced flour, salt and local alpine water. It is slow fermented over 36 hours, allowing flavours and structure to develop into the incredibly simple yet delicious food that humans have been eating for centuries.
Gutsy Bagels
Gutsy sourdough bagels are simply sourdough with a splash of fun! I create New York style bagels - soft, chewy but not too chewy and packed with flavour.
Slow fermented over 36 hours, all Gutsy Bagels are 100% vegan, preservative free, made with sustainable stoneground wheat flour. I rotate through a variety of toppings, including sesame, poppy, chia, Everything Bagel, Naked bagel and blueberry when they are in season.
Where can I buy Gutsy Sourdough?
I bake every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
You can order online to pick up from The Peaks Provisions in Bright, every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
You can also buy sourdough loaves, bagels and baguettes in store at The Peaks Provisions.
On the 3rd Saturday of the month you can find me at The Bright Markets with lots of interesting products that are additional from what is listed here.
